Hypocrisy + Mac N’ Cheese
by D. Aarsone on Sep.21, 2007, under Personal
It’s been a pretty quiet week here. I spent my week working, running errands, and paying bills. Woot.
In addition to having a cell phone and working at Starbucks, I now have a Myspace account to add to my list of things I swore I’d never.
I’m required by the state of Arizona to get a food handler’s license. Yay. There goes my Tuesday afternoon.
I need Mac N’ Cheese variations. Give me your best recipes (keep ‘em cheap). I love the stuff but I’m going to burn out on it fast, so I need some creative new twists on it.

You have, of course, tried Andy’s famous Chili and Mac? Just add a can of chili… easy and cheap.

chili mac is the best of course but you can also put chopped up hotdogs in chili for a delectable meal. One of my personal faves is adding a can of tuna and some peas and carrots (the frozen variety)… tastes a bit like tuna caserole. Another mac and cheese variation is a little bit of salsa, tomatos and chicken. Once I made that one and I put it in a caserole dish and took cornbread batter (the betty crocker 99c. kind) and spread it on top and baked it… pretty tasty. Ham and broccoli go good in mac and cheese too. Man… I’m hungry.
